A new greenmarket is in the works for the residents of Bay Ridge in Brooklyn. The greenmarket would be sited in the parking lot of Our Lady of Angels Church on 4th Avenue and would likely be open on Saturdays from mid-July to mid-November.
After rumblings about the possibility of a market coming to Bay Ridge earlier this year, City Council Member Vincent Gentile will be holding a town hall meeting on Thursday to engage the public in a discussion of what they would like to see at the planned market and address any concerns.
The forum will be held at 7 P.M. at Our Lady of Angels School’s auditorium at 74th Street and 4th Avenue.
